E&S Sound and Lighting is Sam and Ellis — two mates from Clacton-on-Sea, Essex who turned a serious passion for live sound and lighting into a business.
E&S started the way a lot of good things do — two mates who couldn't stop talking about sound and lighting. We grew up around gigs, gear and live music, so turning it into something of our own felt like the obvious next step.
Between us we've already run sound for everything from musical theatre and live bands to packed halls of 350+ people. We're young, we're local, and we genuinely love this stuff — which means we turn up early, sweat the details, and treat your event like it's our own.
Hi, I'm Sam. I've spent the past year working as a sound technician, getting hands-on across a wide range of productions — from musical theatre to live band performances. That's given me a real feel for different audio environments and exactly what each production needs to sound its best.
Hi, I'm Ellis. I've been working as a sound engineer for live music gigs for three years now — everything from a small pub all the way up to larger halls with 350+ people. I've been into music tech like speakers, mixing desks and DJ decks for seven years, and I'll put everything into making sure your gig turns out exactly how you want it.
